The LGBTQSOC National Conferences are an opportunity for LGBTQ Scholars of Color from all over the country to gather, network, exchange ideas, and provide social and emotional support for one another. The first conference was held at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in April 2015 and was funded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Arcus Foundation, and the Andrus Family Fund. Keynote speakers included Dr. Tania Israel, Dr. David Malebranche, and Geena Rocero. The second national conference was held at the Graduate Center in April 2017 and was funded by the GC, The City University of New York, and the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Keynote speakers included Harlan Pruden and Reina Gossett.
The third national conference will be held at San Francisco State University on April 13-14, 2019. Register here!
